 eco volunteering & learning...volunteer for any of the environmental activities that are happenning when you visit. Join in with activities in the garden and start applying some green skills to take home with you.

Choose from:

 Eco building – working with cob, lime, straw local timbers and recycled materials with demonstrations and lots of hands on time...

 Growing your own food, working in the veggie garden and the principles of permaculture...

 Making honey and bee keeping (if available at the time)

 

 adventure sports & more ...experience exciting Dordogne adventures each day with trips to stunning local places - climbing, canoeing, horseriding, tree climbing, hangliding, exploring medieval villages, lively local markets and quaint towns and taste some delicious local French produce.

 
 fun & relaxation... with fellow guests and volunteers whenever you choose.  There are a number of musical instruments - electric, acoustic and folk guitars, a keyboard, microphone and bongo drums so you can extend your repertoire or start learning for the first time.  A table tennis table, a large trampoline, a punch bag and bicycles are all available to use. 
  a typical week's program ...each week activities will vary depending on participants and activities taking place here at the time. You will have the opportunity to select from a list of activities and experiences before your arrival. You can choose to do as much or as little as you like making sure you take time to laze by the huge saltwater pool and just relax.

 facts  - You will take with you what you have learnt to help you start creating your own self-sufficiency at home. Not only will you feel better about life but you will start saving on energy and food bills. 
 accommodation You will stay in beautiful accommodation in the chateau and join others in the kitchen to create your meals. A huge amount of shared space and facilities will provide access to beautiful, historic buildings, our large saltwater swimming pool, the whole of the ground floor of the chateau with a farmhouse kitchen, dining room & living room - lots of get togethers & fun.

*In July & August bookings must be a minimum of 7 days. If you wish to come for longer in any season, you would be most welcome.
 

GETTING HERE

There are flights to nearby airports (Limoges and Rodez) & then you can hire a car. Alternatively, catch a train via PARIS to BRIVE where we can pick you up.
